The Ukulele Project's afterschool programs are designed to foster a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere of creativity, curiosity and exploration. Our development based curriculum is fun and inclusive for all students grades 1-5. We learn about music and the ukulele through playing games, telling stories and singing/playing songs. The full school year's curriculum is split up into 3 separate stand alone sessions to coincide with Fall, Winter, and Spring after school sessions. Each session has different songs and focuses on a different aspect of the ukulele and music. Students can take any or all of the sessions and we always welcome new students at the start of each session. 

We prefer to work directly with parents for tuition. They can sign up and pay through our website. Our goal is to follow your current afterschool offerings session dates so there is a seamless addition of our program and the signup windows are all the same. We can offer some financial assistance and often work with school PTAs to help give any and everyone an opportunity to learn music with us. We need a minimum of 6 students to hold classes and we try to cap our classes at 15 students so that we can provide the best experience possible. 

The Ukulele Project offers students discounted pricing on great Kala Brand Ukulele and accessories through our website. Our student model retails for $60 but we discount 30% to $40 to make them as affordable and accessible as possible. We also offer assistance for families that might need it. A portion of every ukulele purchase through us goes towards helping to get a uke into the hands of a student who can't afford one.

The Ukulele Project loves school events and we are always up to set up a demo table, do a fun  performance and be involved. We also are happy to donate to school fundraisers and auctions with schools that have our program! We want to be a positive partner in any community that we work with. Let us know how we can help!
